One-stop service for foreign talents is now available for foreign talents in Beijing's Chaoyang district. The Foreign Talent One-Stop Government Service Station was opened on Thursday by the district government in partnership with the Beijing Foreign Enterprise Human Resources Service Company (FESCO).

The office provides immigration, social security, payroll and income tax, and business services to people from overseas all in one place, said Hao Jie, the general manager of FESCO.

The service is the first of its kind in Beijing. "Previously, foreign residents in Chaoyang had to go to different government offices for all of the formalities. It usually took them three to six months. With the introduction of this new service, the procedures will be greatly reduced," said Hao.

Chaoyang is home to the majority of the embassies in China, and 90 percent of the international media organizations in Beijing. The district accounts for 70 percent of the total expat population in the city.
