The 2018 Fintech 100, a collaboration between KPMG Fintech and financial technology investment firm H2 Ventures, was announced in Sydney on Oct 23.

As the fifth edition of the annual report, the Fintech 100 includes the "Leading 50" fintech firms around the globe, ranked based on innovation, capital raising activity, size and reach. The "Emerging 50" are new firms at the forefront of innovative technologies and practices and often pursue new business models.

Chinese fintech firms continue to dominate the top of the list, accounting for three of the top five places on the Leading 50, with Ant Financial first, JD Finance second and Baidu fourth. Let's take a look at the top 10 companies in the Fintech 100 for 2018.
