BEIJING, Nov. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lei has said in a press conference that considering the Philippine’s current situation and needs, China will dispatch medical assistance to disaster-affected areas.
Some medical rescue groups registered under the Chinese Red Cross have expressed their willingness to help. China has been paying close attention to the disaster in the Philippines. China has repeatedly stated its decision to provide humanitarian aid to the Philippines. China is keeping in close contact with the Philippine government to make sure supplies can be delivered safely.
