BAGHDAD, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- At least 24 people were killed and 87 others wounded in violent attacks across Iraq on Thursday, police said.

Two car bomb explosions in Iraq's eastern province of Diyala killed at least four people and injured 18 others, a provincial police source told Xinhua. Full Story

14 killed in insurgent attacks in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- Up to 14 people were killed and some 55 others wounded in separate shootings and bombings across Iraq on Thursday, police said.

The deadliest attack occurred in Iraq's northern central province of Salahudin, when up to seven people were killed and some 45 wounded in a coordinated suicide bombing and twin car bomb attacks in the city of Tuz-Khurmato, some 90 km east of the provincial capital city of Tikrit, which is about 170 km north of Baghdad, a provincial police source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
