BEIJING, Oct. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- High on the agenda during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Jakarta is the signing of an industrial investment and co-operation agreement. And one of the keys to enhancing bilateral business ties is the construction of the Tsingshan Industrial Park.

Located on the eastern Indonesian island of Sulawesi, the industrial park covers about 12 million square meters of land. Costing an initial investment of over one billion US dollars, the complex is scheduled to receive another follow-up investment of about four billion dollars in the next 3 years. Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2015.

And when it finally opens, the industrial park is expected to produce some 2,400 jobs for local residents. Around 1,500 families living in the 8 nearby villages have already received free access to electricity and medical services since the start of construction.

Wayan Meles, Indonesian Employee, said, "Our family is living well now. Working in the Chinese company has brought many changes for us. We have now built a new house."

Abdul Kadir, Indonesian Employee, said, "I hope I can keep working in the chinese company in the industrial park."
