BEIJING, April 24 (Xinhuanet) -- All transportation links in quake-hit Baoxing County have been restored with the first batch of supplies arriving on Tuesday.
The quake relief authority says roads in Lushan County are also back in normal running order except for the roads linking 3 remote villages. The official also told a CCTV reporter that road maintenance crews will continue to maintain and strengthen the road links in these areas.
Civil affair officials in Baoxing county say a total of 15 shipments of relief goods have arrived through the newly-recovered roads. The goods include water, food, medicine and tents, many of which have been further allocated to the townships.
