BEIJING, Feb. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- China has reiterated its stance, and has again rejected US allegations on Chinese hacking against US.
Speaking in a news conference on Thursday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said the Ministry of National Defense had made it clear China had done nothing in the cyber attacks in the US.
On Wednesday, Hong Lei described the speculation over alleged Chinese hackers as groundless and unprofessional. Hong says that cyber-crimes are an international problem, and should be solved through international cooperation.
Allegations follow from a report by US security company Mandiant. The company claims it has traced cyber attacks on US companies and government agencies, to a unit of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army in Shanghai.
