BEIJING, Nov. 26 (Xinhuanet) -- 19 opposition groups operating inside Syria have reiterated their desire to solve the crisis through negotiations.

In a press conference in Damascus on Sunday, the groups expressed their wish for a democratic and united country without violence and foreign interference. They suggested forming an interim government, to carry out democratic elections under international supervision.

They also spoke of bringing Syrian refugees back home. However, Syrian overseas opposition groups and the National Coordination Board, the main opposition group inside Syria, did not attend the press conference.
