Canada Goose unveiled its China Brand Exhibition in Zhangyuan, an outstanding Shanghai-style architectural complex in the city center. Running from Thursday to Jan 5, 2025, the exhibition conveys Canada Goose's 67-year heritage.
The exhibition showcases the FW24 Haider Ackermann collection, the inaugural capsule collection by Canada Goose's first-ever creative director, and his second drop collection on the day of the exhibition, emboldening people to thrive in the world outside with an engaging experience inspired by the brand's deep roots in the North.
The Brand Milestone Gallery presents pieces from Canada Goose's extensive archive, including Resolute, Expedition, and Snow Mantra Parkas. The space also showcases the brand's history, innovations, brand collaborations and corporate social responsibility work while being surrounded by nature scenes from the North.
A partnership with Polar Bears International enables raising awareness about the threats to polar bears. The brand has also collaborated with the Shan Shui Conservation Center to support biodiversity conservation and promote human-nature coexistence at Sanjiangyuan National Park in China.
The Immersive Experience Area showcases Canada Goose's Thermal Experience Index (TEI). Thermal mapping technology helps adventurers find the warmth they need.
The China Brand Exhibition also features a pop-up Canada Goose store with products from various collections, blending with the Canada Goose Cafe to create a leisure place for visitors to take a rest.
Jonathan Sinclair, president for the Asia-Pacific region at Canada Goose, said that for nearly 70 years Canada Goose has been a leader in the high-end functional field. This year marks the sixth year since entering the Chinese market. Starting from the first flagship store in Sanlitun, Beijing, the brand has gradually expanded to a nationwide network of nearly 30 stores.
"We're proud to share our brand and product story with you, taking advantage of not just Shanghai as an epicenter of culture, but also Zhangyuan.
"It's the perfect venue to reflect the values and brand philosophy at the heart of Canada Goose – honoring tradition and progress and celebrating our past while embracing our future," Sinclair said.
