STOCKHOLM -- The 2024 Nobel Prize in Physics went to two scientists, John J Hopfield and Geoffrey E Hinton, for foundational discoveries and inventions that enable machine learning with artificial neural networks, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said on Tuesday.
