The 21st China-ASEAN Expo opened on Tuesday in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
As a key node for regional economic ties, the expo not only witnessed a steady growth in the volume of bilateral trade, but also highlighted the vigorous development vitality and unlimited potential of the China-ASEAN market, Xinhua reported on Thursday.
About 2,000 enterprises participated in the main exhibition area of the expo this year, with over 800 enterprises from ASEAN countries and others, accounting for over 41 percent of the total.
Trade and investment between China and ASEAN countries have grown exponentially since the first expo, and they have become each other's biggest trading partners today.
