Edwin Montealegre is from Costa Rica. He chose to stay in Shanghai after graduating from Shanghai Conservatory of Music, driven by his dream of establishing his own professional orchestra and choir in China. Through painstaking efforts and support from like-minded friends, he founded a company and formed a 40-plus member orchestra.
