Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival that fell on Sept 17 this year, an exhibition featuring the talented winners of the 2024 Chinese Bridge Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition summer camp took place at Tang Paradise in Xi'an, Shaanxi province.

Participants from 18 countries showcased their calligraphy and painting works, joining Chinese tourists in the festive celebrations.

Adding a personal touch to the event, participants demonstrated their artistic prowess by creating calligraphy and paintings on folding fans and rice paper right on the spot, generously gifting these creations to the visitors. These works highlighted the participants' exceptional skills in the art of calligraphy and painting, showing their deep appreciation and understanding of Chinese culture.

This cultural exchange extravaganza provided a platform for foreign visitors to immerse themselves in China's rich traditional festivals and cultural heritage, fostering mutual understanding and dialogue between diverse cultures.

Organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, a two-week calligraphy and painting cultural experience event will be held in Beijing, Quzhou, and Xi'an.
