The 8th edition of China Traditional Opera Culture Week will take place at the Beijing Garden Expo Park from Sept 27 to Oct 3.

The event includes 12 activities, including the opening ceremony, a showcase of traditional Chinese opera performances, a gathering of renowned artists from Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei province and academic forums on traditional Chinese opera development.

Renowned performers such as Wang Rongrong, Du Zhenjie, Wang Hongling, and Wang Ping will present classical and contemporary pieces of traditional Chinese operas.

This year's opera week will invite troupes from around the country, including Northern Kunqu Opera Theater, Tianjin Hebei Bangzi Theater, and Tianjin Pingju Theater, to perform in Beijing. Forty-eight troupes will present nearly 100 performances during the event.

To enhance the experience, the organizers have planned programs, such as "Immersive Viewing" and "Opera Wonderland", catering to opera enthusiasts and families with interactive activities.

Attendees can immerse themselves in the elegance of traditional Chinese culture, enjoy the blend of heritage and innovation in opera, and experience the beauty of art integrated with life.
