Creative project breathes new life into old heritage

On Aug 31, the "Canal Chic: Reviving China's Heritage" creative planning project (Jiangsu station) exploration team started the second day of their visit to Yangzhou.
The exploration team, consisting of 25 painters, designers, cultural creative workers, and trendy cultural and creative teams from both domestic and international backgrounds, visited the Yangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum.
Located in the Yangzhou 486 Intangible Cultural Heritage Agglomeration Area, the Yangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum is situated on the east side of the ancient Grand Canal. The museum showcases the fine collections of the Yangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum, Yangzhou Jade Carving Museum, Yangzhou Lacquerware Museum, and China Paper-cut Museum. It is also a branch of the Guangling Museum of Chinese Printing, combining five museums in one.
This event is guided by the network communication bureau of the Cyberspace Administration of China, organized by the China Daily Website, co-organized by the Yangzhou Municipal Committee's Cyberspace Administration and the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism, and supported by the China Internet Development Foundation.
