2024-05-24
On Friday, Shanghai Disney Resort announced a new six-tier pricing structure for admission to Shanghai Disneyland effective from Nov 24, adding two additional tiers to its current pricing ladder.
Under the updated pricing model, two new tiers priced at 539 yuan ($74.4) and 659 yuan will be introduced, while the pricing for entry and top tiers remain unchanged.
The six tiers of the pricing structure will be 475 yuan, 539 yuan, 599 yuan, 659 yuan, 719 yuan, and 799 yuan. Exact ticket tiers will be decided based on the theme park's attendance forecast, according to the notice.
A rolling 30-day pricing calendar will continue to provide guests with the necessary information to plan their trips to the park, the notice said.
"The new six-tiered pricing structure will provide more options for guests as they plan their visit to Shanghai Disneyland, while further supporting the resort to effectively spread visitation throughout the year based on attendance forecast and maximize guest's experience," stated the resort's notice.
Discounts for children, seniors and guests with disabilities will continue to be offered, with infants receiving free admission. Detailed preferential policies are available on the resort's official website.
One ticket to Shanghai Disneyland provides guests with admission and access to all of the attractions and entertainment within the eight themed lands inside the theme park, except for special services, facilities and events that require a separate charge.
