China plans to build its second large cruise ship more efficiently than the first one and reduce its construction period by around eight months, People's Daily reported on Sunday.
The report said the cruise ship is expected to leave the dock by March 2026, and to start the trial trip in June 2026 before delivery to its customer by the end of that year.
It is reported that the ship will have a huge 16-story superstructure for living and entertainment. By optimizing the design layout, the public zones and areas for outdoor and leisure activities will be increased to further enhance the comfort and experience of passengers.
The ship is designed with a total tonnage of 141,900 metric tons, a length of 341 meters, a width of 37.2 meters, and features 2,144 cabins, according to Xinhua News Agency.
Compared to the country's first domestically-built large cruise ship, Adora Magic City, the new ship will boast a larger size and will have more advanced equipment.
