South China's Guangdong province ranked first for the 35th consecutive year in terms of economic aggregate in 2023, according to a report by Economic View.

Jiangsu and Shandong provinces took the second and third places on the GDP ranking list of Chinese regions for 2023.

A total of 17 provincial-level regions' performance outpaced the national economic growth rate in 2023 and Xizang autonomous region witnessed the fastest GDP growth at 9.5 percent last year.
