Mountaineer and photographer Long Jiang's solo exhibition, titled "The Mountain is There", creates a transcendent echo across time and space with George Mallory, the first person in the world who challenged to climb Mount Qomolangma. It also subtly narrates the intricate relationship between nature and humanity.

Long Jiang's innate mountaineering talent endows him with a heightened sensitivity to mountains, enabling him to perceive both their grandeur and subtleties and translate them into visual language.

Long's photos bring us beyond the realm of mere physical appearances, prompting contemplation of the essence and intrinsic power inherent in all things. When we gaze upon mountains, we are also confronting questions, fears and hopes residing deep within our hearts. In this encounter, we establish a profound connection with the mountain, using it as a reflective mirror through which our inherent nature gradually emerges.
