Cultural center brings Chinese tea and folk music to Bangkok

The China Cultural Center in Bangkok held a Chinese tea art performance and folk music concert given by the artists from Shenzhen on May 5.
The event featured a tea art performance based on tea sage Lu Yu's Classic of Tea from the Tang Dynasty (AD618-907).
Chang Yumeng, Chinese cultural counselor to Thailand, Que Xiaohua, director of the cultural center and the China Tourism Office in Bangkok attended the event, along with about 400 local guests.
Que said that as hometown of tea, China welcomes Thailand people to enjoy its rich tea cultural and know more about the new development of the long cultural heritage.
The activity belongs to the worldwide event “Tea for Harmony: Yaji Cultural Salon” launched by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, in cooperation with international organizations and Chinese embassies, consulates and missions abroad, and by means of overseas China Cultural Centers and China National Tourist Offices.
