From sushi and yakitori from Janpan to hamburger and fried bacon from United States, from Jan 2 to 15, 40 restaurants featuring various cuisines from home and abroad in Beijing's Sanlitun area celebrated the "Sanlitun Global Food Week" to bring diners a global culinary experience.
Themed "Delicious 100", the event is part of Sanlitun International Food Festival, which aims to boost regional economic vitality.
Each restaurant launched a special menu for the event, with customers given a chance to spend 100 yuan ($15) to try three dishes from five recommended choices.
The food week was hosted by Chaoyang district Commerce Bureau and Sanlitun subdistrict office and co-organized by Timeout Beijing and Luo Shan culture media.
