Top 10 industries with highest livestreaming transaction growth rate

The automobile industry enjoyed the highest transaction growth rate on Taobao livestreaming in the past year, according to a report by AliResearch.

Large home appliances and the book, audio and video industries grabbed the second and third positions on the list.

Taobao livestreaming has accumulated 400 million users, and the e-commerce platform's annual gross merchandise volume (GMV) has exceeded 200 billion yuan ($27.94 billion) in 2019, with the GMV for livestreaming during the Singles Day Shopping Spree exceeding 20 billion yuan, and the annual GMV for 177 anchors exceeding 100 million yuan.
