'Visiting China Online' through overseas cultural centers

Tanzania
The China Cultural Center in Tanzania launched on March 30 an online tourism activity through the center's Facebook page, selecting some of the most favorite Chinese cities among Tanzanian young people. People can learn more about China from different perspectives and media, such as video clips and picture exhibitions.
The launch of the event resulted in an increase in the number of views and clicks, and drew many positive comments: "I finally understand why we Africans are more and more fond of China", "Chinese food is great", "I want to go to China to study at university".
In addition, the cultural center continues to promote to its students online teaching activities, such as Chinese cuisine and cooking classes and Chinese language classes.
Yangon
The China Cultural Center in Yangon held online lessons, training, video image exhibitions and other activities on its media platform.
From April 1, the center launched online tourism videos and picture exhibitions, inviting people to come travel online. For the first time, the video China, Beyond Imagination was shown, a work capturing the beauty of nature and art. The short film also integrates the experiences of tourists and the daily lives of average people, providing a comprehensive glimpse into China.
People left messages praising the beautiful natural scenery, splendid national culture and colorful scenes from life. Su Yi Mon, a netizen, said: "I love China!".
Paris
Recently, the China Cultural Center in Paris launched on its official website online exhibitions such as the China Tourism Picture Exhibition and China Folk Custom Picture Exhibition. People can visit five major scenic spots of China, appreciate the diversity of all parts of China, and also learn about folk culture such as Chinese festivals, life rituals, folk legends, Chinese zodiac and surnames.
The center has also set up a documentary section on Chinese culture and tourism on its official website, which includes 26 documentaries which span a total of 20 hours and were produced by the French channel of China Global Television. The documentaries cover many themes such as China's politics, culture, economy, international communication, health, geography, science and technology, history, tourism, folklore, and fighting against the epidemic, with French dubbing or subtitles. At the same time, the official website of the center provides dozens of articles in Chinese and French, covering Chinese culture, art, history, cultural heritage, tourism, people's livelihoods and more.
Seoul
The China Cultural Center in Seoul has exhibited online a photo exhibition spotlighting Kuqa county in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region from March 26.
The exhibition comprises a preface, nine chapters, Kuqa earthenware and nearly 70 pictures. It shows the largest Subashi Buddhist temple site in Xinjiang in existence, the majestic Tianshan grand canyon, the Yadan landform "Red Mountain stone forest" and other historical and cultural treasures. The exhibition presents the historical sites, natural landforms, cultural heritage and tourism resources of Kuqa through the lens of photographers.
A series of online activities will be held on the official website of the center, such as online training in paper-cutting and an online exhibition of Chinese Spring Festival culture.
Fiji
The China Cultural Center in Fiji will offer an exhibition of traditional costumes as its first phase of its efforts to promote visiting China online. In this exhibition, the audiences will see Han Chinese clothing, Miao headwear, Yi embroidery, Tu flower sleeves and more, illustrating the harmonious, diverse and integrated nature of Chinese civilization, which has embraced distinctive cultures and regions.
The center hopes that through this online exhibition, the Fijian people can appreciate the cultural diversity and historical development of the 56 ethnic groups in China.
