Four tourist attractions including Jiuzhaigou National Park in Southwest China's Sichuan province will reopen on March 31 after being closed for around two months due to the novel coronavirus outbreak, local tourism authorities said Thursday.

Tickets to the four tourist attractions in Aba Tibetan and Qiang autonomous prefecture must be purchased online.

The local tourism authorities said Jiuzhaigou National Park would impose a limit of 10,000 tourists per day, while the other sites can receive no more than 50 percent of the maximum number of daily visitors. Staff of scenic areas are also required to check visitors' body temperatures before entering.

The four sites will provide free entry to medical workers who fought against the novel coronavirus and an accompanying family member.

So far, the Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport in the prefecture has resumed operations, with six round-trip flights linking the city of Chengdu, capital of Sichuan per week. More air routes connecting the cities of Beijing, Chongqing, Xi'an, Hangzhou and Changsha will reopen in May.
