The cableway of Meihua Mountain, Liupanshui, Southwest China's Guizhou province was recently recognized as the longest of its kind in the world by the World Record Certification Agency (WRCA), which is based in London, the United Kingdom.

The total length of the cableway spans 9.91 kilometers with an altitude difference of 620 meters. Equipped with 199 cabins, it is capable of transporting 12,000 people per day.

The 42,039.82 square meters of accessory occupancy of the cableway provides sightseeing and entertainment services for tourists.

Meihua Mountain scenic spot is only 10 km away from Liupanshui's downtown area and is open to the public for free. The cool weather makes it suitable for avoiding heat in the summer and for enjoying skiing in the winter.

When riding the cableway, tourists can enjoy the multiple views of cities, wetlands, lakes, canyons, and mountains in Meihua Mountain scenic spot.
