Senior Chinese legislators are reviewing a draft explanation of Article 104 of the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

This comes after two Hong Kong legislators-elect deliberately insulted the Chinese nation and the country when taking their oath last month. Article 104 stipulates that Hong Kong officials must swear to uphold the Basic Law when assuming office.
