Thousands complete final mile of Boston Marathon

Thousands of runners completed the final mile of the Boston Marathon course in Boston, Massachusetts, May 25, 2013.

The one-mile run began at Kenmore Square and ended at the official finish line.

About 3,000 runners and bombing victims participated in the event.

Runners carried U.S. flags and a Chinese flag as they approached the finish line.

The Boston Marathon was originally held on April 15, but was cut short as two bombs went off at the finish line, killing three and injuring 180.

A Chinese girl was killed in the accident.
