欧洲最大的铁矿石产区之一。位于乌克兰的第聂伯罗彼得罗夫斯克州。主要矿区沿第聂伯河右岸支流因古列茨河、萨克萨甘河和若尔塔亚河分布，呈南-北带状，长100公里，宽2-7公里，面积约300平方公里。地质储量200多亿吨。工业储量159亿吨（1975），次于俄罗斯库尔斯克地磁异常区，居欧洲第二位。多贫矿，矿层深达1，500米。十九世纪八十年代以来，同顿巴斯煤田开发相配合，发展为世界著名钢铁基地。1978年产商品铁矿石1.1亿吨。中心城市为克里沃罗格。
