| 小翅蛾 Micropterygidae；primitive moths 鳞翅目小翅蛾科的通称。全世界已知仅80余种。中国已知11种。小翅蛾科被认为是鳞翅目中最原始的一个科。用上颚来嚼食花粉或真菌；下颚较发达，但不形成虹吸式的喙 。以苔藓、地衣或落叶为食。蛹为裸蛹，外被洋皮纸状茧，以老熟幼虫在茧内越冬。第二年春季羽化。是一类白天活动的小蛾。成虫常在树荫的草木上静栖，用触角交替摆动，或在花上吃花粉。本科虽然不是重要害虫，但在昆虫进化和分类系统中，则是非常重要的一个类群。 |
