boohuJ一d一onql保护继电器(proteetive relay)用于继电保护装置中能在一个或多个输出回路中产生预定跃变的一种控制器件。当输人参量(电、磁、光、热、声等)达到某一预先设定值(整定值)时输出t便发生跳跃式变化，通常由感受(侧t)部件、比较部件和执行部件三个主要部分组成。感受部件将反应的箱人参量综合后送至比较部件，比较部件将所得的参t与预先设定值相比，做出判断，由执行部件实现摘出t的跃变.按它们的感受元件所反应的物理t种类分，有电气的、机械的、沮度的、光学的等.反应电气量动作的保护继电器应用最为广泛，种类也最多，且又可分为两大类:①按反应的翰人参t主要是交流t的，如电流、电压、功率等大于(或小于)预定值而动作的继电器，主要用于实现故障判别等功能。②按输人参量的有无而动作的逻辑继电器，主要用于构成保护装里的逻辑回路，如:用于增加触点容t或数t;用于增加动作时限;用以表示某一回路通电等功能.保护继电器按结构形式又可分为电磁型、感应型、整流型、晶体管型、集成电路型、数字型等。
