On the basis of damage assessment level criteria and analysis of damage elements, evaluation model based on the Bayesian Network is constructed.

Some problems including protrusion value of diamond grit,amount of simultaneously active diamonds on the matrix,wear on diamond impreganted bead,equivalent quartz content and erosive wear on diamond impreganted tools that worthed to discuss in the research work of diamond impregnated tools were raised from the analyzing of wear factors in diamond impregnated tools.
