主要用于制备金属胶状溶液、电影胶片显影剂、红外线照相热敏剂、苯乙烯和聚苯乙烯阻聚剂。也是染料和医药的中间体。作为化学试剂,主要用作还原剂,在重量分析中测定锑、金、银、汞盐、磷铂酸、磷钨酸等。
