性质:又称塑性。材料受外力、热等作用变形后,能完全或部分保持其变形的性质。是材料的一种加工和使用性能。橡胶的可塑性通常用外力消除后仍保留的残余变形来表示,它是评价橡胶加工性能的重要指标。在橡胶加工过程中,由于橡胶具有弹性会给其加工过程带来困难,适当提高橡胶的可塑性有利于橡胶的加工操作。但可塑性过大,又会使橡胶制成品的物理机械性能下降,对加工操作也不利。通常在满足工艺加工要求的前提下,以具有最小可塑度为宜。
