自然条件下,对松嫩平原西部盐碱地区虎尾草和稗草的光合作用日进程进行了观测,结果表明:虎尾草和稗草叶片光合与蒸腾作用的日变化均呈单峰曲线;胞间CO2浓度的日进程呈现早上最高、中午降到最低点、傍晚又升高的特点,基本与其净光合速率的变化相反;虎尾草和稗草的水分利用效率最低值都是出现在上午蒸腾速率最强烈的时候;蒸腾速率与光合速率呈极显著正相关,虎尾草的相关性系数为r2=0。

稗 Echinochloa crusgalli 禾本科稗属一年生草本。又称稗草、稗子。为害水稻的杂草。广布全球温暖地区,中国各地都有。该属约15种,中国有3种。株高50~130厘米。须根庞大;茎丛生,光滑无毛。叶片主脉明显,叶鞘光滑柔软,无叶舌及叶耳,是与水稻的主要区别。圆锥花序;小穗密集于穗轴一侧;颖果椭圆形、骨质、有光泽。晚春型杂草,适应性强。喜温暖湿润环境,既能生长在浅水中而又较耐旱,并耐酸碱。繁殖力强,一株结子可达1万粒左右。由于根系庞大 , 吸收肥水能力强,植株高于水稻而使水稻减产。化学防除效果较好,在种子萌发前可用除草醚、杀草丹、丁草胺施于表土,种子萌发后可用禾大壮,稗苗二叶期可用敌稗喷雾。
