性质:YAP钙钛矿型的正交晶系。Y2O3与Al2O3的摩尔比为1:1。光学上为双轴晶。熔点1875℃。各向异性故有不同的激光特性。用高频炉或电阻炉以提拉法生长单晶。生长时,Nd3+在YAP中分凝系数为0.8,所以YAP中Nd3+浓度高,利于吸收光能。与YAG相比,输出功率不易饱和。但高温相不稳定,生长过程易开裂。
