大井古铜矿遗址
大井古铜矿遗址位于内蒙古自治区林西县官地镇中兴村大井自然村北1公里处，为青铜时代的遗址，年代距今2900年至2700年。该遗址文化性质单纯，属于夏家店上层文化，是中国迄今发现的最早的一处集采矿、冶炼、铸造等全工序的古铜矿遗址。
遗址主要遗存集中分布在山冈和坡地上，有采矿坑、冶炼坩锅、工棚建筑遗迹等。共有露天采矿坑47条，最长的有102米，最短的有7～8米，宽度为0．8～2．5米，深度为7～9米。矿坑之间不连接，有顺坡纵向开采的，也有横向开采的。
大井古铜矿遗址的发现，不仅进一步证实了早在两三千年以前，中华民族的先民就生产、生活在这里，并使用着原始而艰辛劳动创造了辉煌灿烂的中国古代商周青铜器文化；而且也为研究中国北方古代铜矿开采、选矿、冶炼、铸造技术及发展水平提供了实证。
