Two new types of cardiac glycosides were obtained from this plant, and their structures were identified to be 5β-hydroxy-8,14β-epoxy-carden-20(22)-olide-3β-yl-D-cymaropynanoside (1) and 5β-hy- droxy-8,14-β-epoxy-carden-20(22)-olide-3β-yl-D-glucopynanosyl-(1 → 4)-β-D-cymaropynanoside (2) by spectral analysis of 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 2D NMR and MS spectra.
