Traditional education in China pumps what adults consider to be valuable into their children,overemphasizes the "shaping" function of education,and excessively conducts "child prodigy" education with too much enthusiasm,etc.

With the possibility and necessity of the campaign to promote children reading as the penetration point,this paper has discussed the indispensable role of the libraries in promotion of children s reading.
