为蔷薇科植物豆梨的果实。
【植物形态】
豆梨 落叶乔木或灌木,高可达9米。树皮灰黑色;小枝光滑;冬芽有细毛。单叶互生,或于短枝上簇生,阔卵形或卵形,长4~8厘米,宽3.3~5.5厘米,先端短锐尖,基部圆形至阔楔形,边缘有细而圆钝的锯齿,两面无毛;叶柄长2~4厘米。伞房花序呈总状,有花6~12朵,花径2~2.5厘米;花梗长1.5~3厘米;萼片5,披针形,稍短于萼筒),外面无毛,内面有稀毛;花瓣5,卵圆形,白色有短爪;雄蕊20;花柱2,稀为3。梨果球形,径约1~2厘米,黑褐色,有斑点,萼裂片脱落;果柄细长。种子黑褐色。花期4月。果期9月。 生于溪旁、路边及杂木林中,分布广东、江西、浙扛、江苏、山东、河南、陕西、甘肃等地。 本植物的枝叶(野梨枝叶)、根皮(鹿梨根皮)亦供药用,各详专条。
