物资，在我国专指生产资料，有时也泛指全部物质资料，较多指工业品生产资料。其与物流中“物”区别于，“物资”中包含相当一部分不能发生物理性位移的生产资料，这一部分不属于物流学研究的范畴，例如建筑设施、土地等。另外，属于物流对象的各种生活资料，又不能包含在作为生产资料理解的“物资”概念之中。
