By introducing finite volume method and combining the mechanical characteristics equation with air-film flow equations,the unsteady 2-D viscous flow of aerostatic bearing air-film was analyzed numerically at the condition of isothermal air and the curves of bearing swing,load capability and air-film dynamic stiffness were obtained.
