经互会各国于1969年 2月27日联合建立的科技情报中心。古巴、越南于1973、1979年相继加入。其后，朝鲜也加入。中心成员国在合作的基础上，建立经互会范围内的国际科技情报系统及其下属跨国的专业子系统和部门子系统。有7个专业子系统，即专利情报系统、 期刊登记系统、科技项目系统、再版文献系统、工业产品目录系统、科技译文系统及科技电影系统。部门子系统由经互会各国相应部门 (机器制造、化学与化工、医学、石油与天然气、地质部门等) 的情报系统联合组成。中心还参加了一些世界情报系统的工作，如国际核情报系统、国际环境情报源咨询服务系统。它还是国际期刊数据系统的地区中心。
