渡过碧溪潭，行数十步就到四角的爱山亭，亭子纯系石柱石梁石屋顶构成，风格古朴。亭前有联：“开天窗说凉（亮）话；有大石当中流。”指的是两处景观：一是以往溪流中有块巨石，像跃起的癞蛤蟆，如北雁显圣门的“中流砥柱”。另一处就是石天窗。
石天窗,隔溪与石亭对望。原是块峙立溪边山上的大悬岩，中间有一方洞通透，仿佛是架在半天的窗口。宋时已有盛名，宋人项桂发诗云：‘深游南雁见名山，石洞天窗夜不关。”1918年《中国名胜》第十种里，石天窗被列为主要景点之一。近旁还有相传雁群云集的群雁峰，形似天马行空的天马峰。
