The synthesis of 1,4-Bis{[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]amino}-5,8-dihydroxyanthraquinone(AQ4) was studied asantitumor agent in this paper with 2,3-dihydro-1,4,5,8-tetrahydroxyanthraquinone and N,N-dimethylaminoethylamine as rawmaterials.
