Preliminary Research on Efficient Water-saving Agriculture Development in Keping County

The sedimentary environment and genesis of Middle Ordovician nodular limestones in Keping,Xinjiang;

Geochemistry of Salgan Black Shales of Middle-Upper Ordovician in Keping Outcrop, Tarim Basin;

Based on geological background, the author suggested that giant oil and gas fields formed during the second reservoir formation cycle and not destroyed can be found in Keping covered structural region.

The Dawangou section of Kalpin area, Xinjiang and Guangzhuang section of Pingliang area, Gansu were proposed as the global stratotype for the base of the Nemagraptus gracilis Biozone and the base of the global Upper Ordovician Series.

Located on the northwest margin of the Tarim basin,the Kalpin Ranges are totally composed of thrust sheets, which comprise from Cambrian to Permian stata generally dipping to north.

Based on the study of the Silurian sections in the Kalpin area of the northwestern Tarim Basin, eight ichnogenus and eight ichnospecies were recognized in the Lower Silurian Tataaiertage Formation.
