性质:一种产芽孢,革兰氏染色阳性,以周生鞭运动,严格厌氧的梭菌。细胞大小(0.3~0.4)μm×(1.4~6.6)μm。芽孢卵圆形、次端生。在固体培养基上菌落直径2~6mm,中部突起,白色至淡黄色,边缘假根状,半透明,表面无光泽。能分解蛋白质和糖类。发酵葡萄糖和麦芽糖,产丁酸和少量乙酸等。存在于土壤、伤口和肠道内。DNA的G+C mol%值为26。
