ubwavelength self-focus effect in a set of nanoscale Ag-waveguide arrays(Ag-WGAs) is numerically simulated with the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD) method.

The analysis results show that the rectangular waveguide CO2 laser can manifest a far field intensity distribution of coherent spatial suppressed single peak,which is similar to that from a phase coupled waveguide array laser, and its far field intensity distribution changes periodically with the increase of the resonator length.
