Research on Database Recovery Mechanism Based on Transaction Log

In the approach,LogMiner is used to analyse the transaction log file for extracting some key fields,by matching the relate key fields in the audit log,the SQL of user’s session from his login to logout can be perfectly recovered.

Work principle and characteristics of transaction log MS SQL Server 2000 are introduced,and a method of log read and log analysis of MS SQL Server 2000 is described with DBCC commands provided by MS SQL Server 2000 as log reading interface in detail,and finally a log analyzer of MS SQL Server 2000 is implementation based on this method.

We introduce Bloom Filter and transactional memory briefly,and come up with an adaptive conflict detection algorithm (ACDA) adjusting the length of the Bloom Filter bit vector due to the size of read and write set of transactions.

Transactions in transactional memory with the atomicity,consistency and isolation properties provide a foundation to ensure that concurrent reads and writes of shared data do not produce inconsistent or incorrect results and execute atomically.

To support I/O operations inside transactions,this paper proposes a hardware transactional memory system architecture based on multi-core processor and current cache coherent mechanisms,It supports transactions by adding transactional buffer and related hardware and software.
