According to the difficulties in well completion in quaternary overburden and silt & fine sand layers,and by the development of gravel-filled filter,the paper tested and discussed the correlation between thickness of filter material and sand-resistance,minimum theoretical thickness value of sand-resistance with different specifications of filter materials was preliminary obtained.

The basic principles are that 1)seismic data and logging data are used to inverse the wave impedance of sand set,2) the wave impedance of the sand set is corrected to remove the effect of mudstone,and 3)the wave impedance after correction(the wave impedance of sandstone)is used to calculate the porosity.
方法的基本原理是:首先利用地震、测井等资料,在精确层位标定的基础上,进行波阻抗反演,得到砂层组的波阻抗;然后对砂层组的波阻抗进行校正,去除泥岩的影响;最后利用校正后的波阻抗(砂岩波阻抗)计算孔隙度。

| 粉砂岩 siltstone 由粒径为0.0625～0.0039毫米（mm）的粉砂的含量占50％以粉砂岩标本的一种碎屑沉积岩。除粉砂以外其它由砂、粘土或化学沉淀物组成。按粒度划分为粗粉砂岩（0.0625～0.0312mm）和细粉砂岩（0.0312～0.0039mm）。按碎屑成分划分为石英粉砂岩、长石粉砂岩、岩屑粉砂岩（少见）和它们间的过渡类型。根据胶结物成分划分为粘土质粉砂岩、铁质粉砂岩、钙质粉砂岩和白云质粉砂岩。黄土也是一种疏松的或半固结的粉砂质沉积物。粉砂岩多形成于河漫滩、三角洲、潟湖和海洋的较深水部位。
