In this article,the structure characteristics,the core points in fabrication,part fabrication,assembling and welding process and assembling scheme onsite of Shell brand large coal gasifying furnace were introduced.

In this paper,the author analyzes the reasons causing shaped-coal gasification efficiency low with fixed-bed gasifier originally for lump coal gasification,lists the basic requirement for shaped-coal gasifier, puts forward design scheme for improving.

It is described the impossible to burn heavy oil and pulverized coal on large capacity pulverized coal boiler at the same time,and explained it is impossible to guarantee the rated steam parameters and rated capacity to burn 100% pulverized coal and 100%heavy oil on the large capacity pulverized coal boiler in the same time.
